Some How To's for Possible Part-Time or Full-Time Internet Ministries

For all of the below, you should plan to pray a lot

(my primary times for such are

before I get out of bed in the morning

and when I try to go to sleep in the evening),

live Proverbs 3:5-6 so that you will be Holy Spirit sensitive

(He knows the needs of others and the best way to communicate),

frequently think about Scripture and develop a Bible study at least once a month,

and be ready for spiritual warfare by researching controversial spiritual issues.

My understanding of Proverbs 3:5-6:

Trust in the Lord with all my heart,

           and lean not on my own understanding or past experiences;

in all my ways acknowledge Him(be thankful to/for God),

and He (via the Holy Spirit) shall direct my thinking and doing.

In response to 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18--

“Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks:

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

I thought such would be impossible,

but then the Holy Spirit told me to imagine a spiritual conveyor belt inside my mind

that I could put prayer concerns on and that He would also intercede for.

Romans 8:26-- “Likewise The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:

                          for we know not what we should pray for as we ought;

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

In other words, we should have an attitude of compassion for others

                          which requires unselfish prayer.

After I read the book about Reese Howells back in early 1975,

I have done a lot of intercessory prayer and God has blessed me

                               with so much divine peace

and later divine joy when I hear or read of good results.

                                     (Romans 14:17-- “For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink;

but righteousness, and peace, and joy in The Holy Spirit.”)

God prefers such communication with His adopted children

instead of selfish praying or complaining.

Loving God more and more and doing intercessory praying

are my core during my daily ministering and sanctification.

Choose two free e-mail accounts with good Christian IDs (not anything related to your names).

If you are married, you should also open a joint account

with your first name and her first name separted by periods and "and".

This account can mainly be used for Biblical marriage counseling.

I recommend Dr. Jay E. Adams and Dr. Wayne A. Mack books

for good advice and counseling tools.
And the information I have collected in

the folder "For Counseling Ministry"-- https://www.box.com/s/46cfbcbb638ed48816b5 .

For one of the other e-mail accounts, use it for sharing prayer requests and good information:

In front of each of my Internet contact's names I put location letter

("E" for "East" like for those in Asia,

"M" for "Middle" for those in Europe and Africa,

"W" for "West" for those in North and South America)

and a number two dashes (1= best Internet friends, 2= good friends, 3 or 4= non-responders).

For protection of those you are ministering to, use the Bcc: feature, not the To: or Cc: boxes.

Make up ID names in front of this e-mail account address which you could insert in the "To:" box.

Examples: "for intercessory prayer", "God's wisdom seekers", and "for Christ-likeness".

Also make groups with logical names for quick Bccing.

I make one group of my best Internet friends and of individuals who forward prayer requests.

                            ("Prayer partners")

I currently have 5 groups for my usually weekly e-mail which includes

personal thoughts, intercessory prayer requests, Christian music lyrics,

                          spiritual essays and articles,

Bible study tools I or others developed.

For current event articles, I also have groups for those Internet friends

                          located in the United States

and those living in other locations (like east of the USA or other continents).

G-mail has a maximum limit of 500 addresses per day for such e-mailings.

           Also start developing prayer requests

in response to news events worldwide to news in the church you attend.

Do such with the following attitude:

“Do not fret {or} have any anxiety about anything,

but in every circumstance {and} in everything,

by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving,

continue to make your wants known to God.”  (Philippians 4:6-7)

This would be different than the common forwarding of prayer requests done by individuals

If I were to do my own e-mail prayer request list ministry,

I would use an Excel worksheet system to keep track.

I would even sort the requests in different ways.

The sorting and linked cell features are wonderful for such.

I can send you an example of what I did for correspondence school attempt.

      For the other e-mail account,

receive other e-mail ministry mass mailings-- prayer requests and information fowards

But don't do like I did

in requesting too many others' e-mail ministries

and in signing up for too many Christian forums which send e-mail updates.

Only sign up for what you can read and respond to at least 4 times per week.

Only if you have the desire and ability to write about spiritual issues and Scripture,

sign up for blog sites that send e-mail notices.

True Christians should use the Internet to inform others

about the dangerous trends that are happening in the USA

and appropriate God's truths about what God loves and what He hates.

There is so much to do for the Great Commission

and such a small number of true Christians who want to use most of their time

                     to share God's wonderful truths

and to do Biblical counseling, exhortation, and rebuking when needed and Holy Spirit urged.

A major problem in the world currently is the increase of toleration of sinning,

even in Christian churches and healing or revival meetings.

And I have not seen a church with a good discipleship program

or is doing what Ephesians 4:11-16 and Philippians 2:1-5 says. Have you?

My quickest way of responding to e-mails and blogs are by

appropriate Scripture verses, spiritual anagrams (as seen in "Acronyms" of this website),

or quotes from MS Word files that I have developed and have put in the MS Office shortcut bar:

"0-- Personal Information" document has my address, phone number,

my various signatures with my Internet site addresses,

phone numbers and other personsal info of others,

and other information that might be important to others.

Then I have other MS Word documents titled as follows:

                     "0-- miscellaneous frequent quotes",

                     "0-- miscellaneous spiritual quotes",

                     "0-- miscellaneous secular sayings".

I also make an MS document for good quotations from others' in e-mails

and put the year and the months names and add the word "communications" in the title.

And if you are a quick typist, quick thinker, and know a lot of Scripture,

minister in one or two Christian chat rooms or develop an Instant Messenger ministry.

(I prefer to take a little time and prayer before I respond about issues,

because I feel a great responsibility in representing God and His wonderful truths.

2 Timothy 2:16 says, "But avoid all empty (vain, useless, idle) talk,

for it will lead people into more {and} more unGodliness."

Also, you might sign up for the free account of www.yola.com.

           Tips about yola.com software:

You can only use one theme (page background)

for each of the free websites (in other words 5 themes).

                 But you can use

different sizes and colors of fonts, shades behind the words,

and photos in order to make the pages look different.

Sometimes when pasting a large amount, some of it will change to different font sizes.

So proof read all that you paste.

I think the rest of the software is easy to figure out.

For other Internet sharing of articles, Christian essays, Bible studies, photos, music, and videos,

the www.Box.com free account has easy software that allows 10 GB.

The software is easy to use.

URL addresses can be sought for sharing of items and folders.

And e-mail notifications are sent when people view or download items or folders.

Hope that you will share using the Internet more of God's wonderful truths and His concerns.  If you have any more questions, contact me at living.for.jude.20.to.25@gmail.com or Bill.and.Mercy@gmail.com .
